Midnight Star Logic LLC utilizes SMS text messaging to deliver real-time compliance alerts, random DOT test notifications, and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) resources to drivers and Designated Employer Representatives (DERs).
Consent: By providing your mobile phone number, you explicitly consent to receive these compliance-related text messages.
Opt-Out: You may cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the shortcode or number sending the message. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.
Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword "HELP" for more assistance.
Rates: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on random testing selections and compliance triggers.
SMS Privacy: Midnight Star Logic LLC strictly respects your privacy. Mobile information, phone numbers, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will NEVER be shared with, or sold to, third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Midnight Star Logic LLC provides software to assist with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
Data Handling: All driver records, including random pool selections, pre-employment 30-day trackers, multi-modal agency rates (e.g., FAA vs. FMCSA), and DOT violation documentation are encrypted and handled in strict accordance with 49 CFR Part 40 guidelines.
Clearinghouse & Biometrics: We actively support compliance with the 2024 CDL Downgrade Mandate and the April 2026 FMCSA Clearinghouse Biometric Login standards. However, DERs maintain ultimate legal responsibility for ensuring final data submission to the federal Clearinghouse.

Platform Use: Midnight Star Compliance is a SaaS (Software as a Service) utility designed to automate logic trees and organize testing pools. While our software reflects the most up-to-date 2026 federal regulations, Midnight Star Logic LLC is not a substitute for legal counsel or a Certified Medical Review Officer (MRO).
Accountability: The employer and their appointed DER retain final legal liability for acting upon the data and compliance alerts provided by the software. Midnight Star Logic LLC is not liable for DOT audit fines, out-of-service orders, or driver litigation resulting from employer negligence or failure to execute compliance actions.
